Another fine mess: Introduction to OpenRefine & SQLite:
It's more a rule than an exception that any data that come our way would be messy; whatever is information from library catalogues, census records or statistical data, they would usually be unstructured, incongruous, or full of mistakes.
In this intro we would see how and why OpenRefine is a perfect tool to easily structure, uniform and rectify data; for that purpose we will use various "real life" examples.
And what to do with those data afterwards?
In the second part of this intro we will glance at SQLite – a serverless database software; we will show how to easily create a database, as well as how to query and mine it.
