Introduction to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) In-Person

DOAJ is the biggest directory of Open Access journals in the world. Today more than 18,000 Open Access journals from all disciplines around the world are indexed in this directory. As an Open Access journal, it is seal of approval to be indexed in DOAJ due to a number of Open Access-relevant inclusion criteria.

This webinar is an introduction to DOAJ and how it improves the impact and credibility of Open Access journals.

The webinar will focus on:

  • The importance of a directory of Open Access journals
  • DOAJ’s inclusion criteria and how journals meet these criteria
  • The application process
  • How the Royal Danish Library assists journals and editors in DOAJ indexing.

It will be possible to ask questions during the presentation.

Target group: Editorial and advisory boards, researchers (including PhD students and postdocs) and research support staff  

Language: English (If all registered attendees prefer Danish, the webinar will be conducted in Danish).
