Webinar: Reviewing literature with AI - avoiding pitfalls

Webinar: Reviewing literature with AI - avoiding pitfalls Online

AI is revolutionising the way we write literature reviews. AI assists with the search, screening, data extraction and even analysis of text data. AI becomes our collaborator and semi-automate tasks for us, speeding up some processes and enabling us to include larger quantities of texts in our review work than previously possible. However. AI is not perfect, and can make mistakes that threaten the integrity and reproducibility of review work if not used critically. It is important that we think about how we can maintain foundational scientific virtues in reviews that are produced using AI. This webinar is offered in collaboration with Silvi.ai and will be in English.

The webinar will discuss:
•    The pitfalls of using AI for scientific literature – what about transparency?
•    Speeding up the screening process – can we maintaining quality?
•    Going beyond summaries - How can AI extract data?
•    What if AI is wrong?
•    Is it academically sound to use AI in literature reviews – guidelines?
•    What about reproducibility?
