Om vinterskolen

Som noget nyt har vi i KUB Datalab arrangeret en såkaldt vinterskole. Formålet er at give deltagerne mulighed for at beskæftige sig indgående med R i en hel uge. Du har således mulighed for at tilrettelægge et program, der passer til lige netop dine behov og dine forudsætninger. Du skal være opmærksom på, at du skal tilmelde dig hvert kursus individuelt.

Vinterskolen arrangeres i samarbejde mellem Københavns Universitetsbibliotek og Roskilde Universitetsbibliotek.

Om kurset

Vil du gerne lære, hvordan du kan lave statistiske analyser ved hjælp af R? Så er dette kursus måske noget for dig. Kurset giver en introduktion til, hvordan man kan lave statiske analyser i R. Dette er ikke et statistikkursus, så man lærer ikke om statistik i sig selv.

For at deltage i kurset forudsættes det, at du har en vis erfaring med programmering i R, og at du er bekendt med tidyverse. Dette svarer til, hvad man lærer på vores grundlæggende R-kursus. Desuden skal man have en vis statistisk indsigt.

Du bedes have installeret R og Positron før kurset, sådan at vi kan nå så langt som muligt på kurset. Du kan finde hjælp til at installere R og Positron her.

Kurset er som udgangspunkt på dansk, men hvis en eller flere af deltagerne ønsker det, afholdes det på engelsk.

About the winter school

As a new initiative, KUB Datalab has organised a so-called winter school. The aim is to give participants the opportunity to engage intensively with R for an entire week. You will therefore be able to tailor a programme that suits your specific needs and level of experience. Please note that you must register for each course individually.

In short, it is up to you whether you wish to register for one or more courses.

The winter school is organised in collaboration between Copenhagen University Library and Roskilde University Library.

About the course

Would you like to perform statistical analyses in R? If so, this course might be relevant for you. The course provides an introduction to conducting statistical analyses in R. Please note that the course does not include an introduction to statistics as such.

To participate in the course, you are expected to have some experience with programming in R. You are also expected to be familiar with the tidyverse. This corresponds to what is taught in our basic R courses. In addition, you need some knowledge about statistics.

Furthermore, we expect you to be able to conduct statistical work prior to attending the course, so some knowledge of statistics is also required.  

Please ensure that you have installed R and Positron in advance to make the most of our time together. You can find help for installing R and Positron here.

The course will primarily be conducted in Danish, but if one or more participants prefer, it will be held in English.
