Learn the fundamental principles of data literacy to support academic success, responsible research practices, and lifelong learning. Develop an understanding of how data is generated, structured, interpreted, and communicated across academic disciplines. The course helps bridge the gap between students’ initial exposure to data and the expectations they will encounter in more advanced, data-intensive studies.
The course gives you the opportunity to work with practical examples of data use in an academic context. We primarily focus on real-world datasets and research scenarios, with emphasis on interpreting, evaluating, and responsibly handling data in scholarly work.
Target group: Students and employees at the Faculty of Science and Health, but all students at the University of Copenhagen are welcome.
